Renthouse property management department transfers property management activities to Interhouse

We are proud to announce that as of 1 July 2025, Interhouse property management will take over the property management activities of Renthouse property management. Renthouse, a renowned property manager based in Amstelveen & Amsterdam, has been a trusted name in the region since 1968—perhaps even the original name in the industry. After decades of dedication and high-quality service, Renthouse has made the decision to conclude its property management operations. In ensuring the continuity of property management, they sought a partner who shares their vision on quality, client care and commitment. That choice fell on us.

A natural and trusted partnership

Interhouse and Renthouse know each other well. For over 15 years, the two organisations have enjoyed a pleasant and constructive collaboration. There is a strong overlap in how both companies operate: short lines of communication, personal service and a high standard of delivery. The trust was mutual, and the transition regarding the property management activities was agreed upon quickly and with great care.

“We are honoured that Renthouse property management chose to engage exclusively with Interhouse regarding this transfer. That says a lot about the trust in our organisation and the shared vision of professional property management,” — Marije Lim, Director at Interhouse property management

Experienced property manager with a local focus

Interhouse property management has been active since 1998 and manages thousands of properties across the Netherlands from 12 offices, including several hundred private rental homes in the Amsterdam–Amstelveen region. From mid-range rental to the most exclusive segment. Although Interhouse is part of a broader network with offices in much of the country, its strength lies in local focus, market knowledge, regulatory expertise, and a personal approach. A philosophy that seamlessly matches the Renthouse DNA.

A new chapter, in trusted hands

This transition marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Renthouse property management portfolio—one in which the familiar quality and client dedication remain fully intact. Or, as Renthouse owners Pien, Femke and Patrick Loftus put it:

“After more than 55 years of property management, we wanted to be absolutely certain that our clients for these specific services would remain in good hands. With Interhouse, we have no doubt they will.”

Ton is the creator, founder, and owner of Interhouse Netherlands. Over 25 years ago, he began shaping his vision for real estate. He started the still-successful Interhouse rental agents in Sassenheim, facilitating thousands of rental transactions. Because his approach was well-received, it led to the expansion of services, giving birth to Interhouse property management—a specialized formula dedicated to efficient rental property management. Driven by growth ambitions, the successful formulas were made available to other motivated franchise entrepreneurs, resulting in the creation of Interhouse Netherlands. Over the years, the number of branches increased, and specialist real estate agent formulas emerged. Both Interhouse sales agents and Interhouse buying agents are operational with several branches across the country. The focus is on further expansion to extend the vast Interhouse network. Ton is responsible for Interhouse's vision and direction, continuously striving to connect with numerous relationships and stay at the forefront of top-tier knowledge and service delivery.
