Reviews Interhouse Amersfoort

The organisation itself is responsive, however they push any responsibility on to the landlords and the landlords they associate themselves with are not trustworthy or helpful.

The landlord: It took me two months of intensive emails to get my deposit back. I still have yet to receive my money back from my heating; it’s been five months.
Addionally; to my knowledge the landlord did not request the Dutch ‘Vergoeding energiekosten blokverwarming’, which means we didn’t receive any compensation from the government. This meant we lost out on a compensation we could have gotten due to the lack of action of the landlord.

Repairs: If you want to repair anything be aware it will take some time as well, so make sure when you view an appartment to check if nothing is broken. What you see is what you get; it’s likely few/no things will change by the time you move in. If it is possible to talk to the current renter for tips, I would recommend it.
